Talking Planning July 2014 Niagara/Lake George

I am trying to plan next year for July 4th week June 27 through July 6th
I should be able to do 9 days
We are thing of starting at Buffalo NY and visiting Niagara falls and then moving onto Lake George

In lake George I would like to stay at Lake George Escape
In Buffalo I have no Idea where to stay
Leaving after work on Friday the 27th
Prob going to be a 6 Hr drive so we would not be getting into Buffalo area till 10 Pm (How Many days should we spend there) Thinking of leaving on the 1st

Prob a 5Hr drive to Lake George so we would loose a day driving so we would have the 2nd through the 6th there
I might be able to take a extra day off from work but that would have to be the 7th
How does this sound ?

Niagara will be very busy that week! Canada has a holiday on the first and our 4th. We just returned from the area. Stayed at Branches of Niagara campground. Very nice place and the cleanest restrooms I've ever seen in a campground! It is located on Grand Island about 15 minutes from the falls, and the same to Buffalo.
