Plannng on a trip and could use suggestions on where to stay....

Have a 33A Fleetwood Excursion with an enclosed 12 foot trailer with my Harley. Heading to Sturgis and am going to take about two weeks prior to getting there on apx 7-27-15. I have come up with a road map that takes me along a path I haven't taken before and was hoping for some input from some of the members here on where to stay along the way. I really don't want any reservations in advance unless 100% necessary as we will be taking our time. We would like FHU (50A) but have no problem with a night or two dry camping (is that boondoggling?). We prefer RV parks that aren't big parking lots....lol Independent, small, well kept up RV parks are great and our preference. National Parks with FHU are also fine with us.

Our path is as follows:

Leaving the Scottsdale area and heading :
17N....Probably stay in Sedona for a night or two
40E
89N to Page, AZ
98
160E
191N to Moab
70E to Grand Junction CO
25N to Cheyenne, WY
20E to New Castle
85N
14E to Sturgis SD

Never been the 70E but have driven my Harley to the top of Mt Evans. I assume we are going to be climbing some big grades heading to the 25. The views have to be awesome during this drive.

Any advice or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Cheers!

there is an RV park in Cheyenne that has its own BBQ joint on-site. good too. I don't remember the name but if you google for RV parks there with BBQ you'll find it.
