We are having a great stay at Poche plantation in Convent Louisiana. The park is very Pet friendly and Prince will greet you when you arrive
The park is clean and the owners are friendly and it is a Good Sam park.
The restored plantation house tour is included and a lot of fun.
Our tour was done by Mark one of the owners and he does the tour with a sense of passion and provides much local history.
The location is right next to the river and is very close to many Plantations for tours and wonderful authentic restaurants.
Housmas house plantation is 10 miles away and is the best home tour we have ever done and the restaurants at the plantation are awesome
The park RV sites are concrete and very spacious with full hookups, cable and WIFI.
We were so happy to have found this place and will stay here again when in the area.
Close to New Orleans and Baton Rouge
Regards, Randy

Hey Randy, the wife and I spent a month in that area last spring but never found that campground

While in the area, make sure to visit PreJohn's restaurant. It's world famous for their cajun cuisine and I've never had food that good in all my life.

We even stopped at another restaurant that everyone had recommended and while talking with the owner, I mentioned that we had eaten at PreJohn's and he stopped me and said "Nothing compares to PreJohn's!"

Avery Island is also pretty cool to spend a day wandering around the gardens. The Tabasco tour was alright, but the gardens were beautiful and if you're into photography, it's amazing.

Thanks for sharing

Pat & Cindy Bonish
