Portland Area RV Spot Needed

Are there any parks near Portland Oregon with an open spot through Monday. Up here from California as father is being transferred from Corvallis to Portland today for surgery. I found a spot for one day in Woodburn but need more days. All the parks in Portland area are full. If aware of any opening it would be appreciated.

There are two in Vancouver that I recently checked out, both were full although one right off 78th might have one short term.

Some of the local Portland hospitals used to have temp RV parking for patient/family members.

I would call the hospital and ask. They should at least be able to recommend a place for your RV.

Good luck!

Thank you. I tried believe it or not they are full too. I am surprised at the amount of RV’s on the road already.

place to camp

I live near exit 9 of I-5 in Vancouver. If you haven't' found a place you can park here. In non rush hour times you can drive to many locations in Portland in about 20 min.

We're in Portland Fairview RV Park at the moment. There are some empty sites throughout the park so you might give them a call. It is $$$.
We've also stayed at 99 RV in Vancouver & commuted. It is not a bad commute.
Depending on what hospital there is LL Stub Stewart State Park that might not be too bad of a drive.
At the worst, we've stayed at Hee Hee Ilahee in Salem & driven into Portland.

Hard to understand that Pheasant Ridge is full--I have been here for 6 nights and there has been open sites each night. Guess the problem might be length of stay, but one pull-thru has been open for five nights...
I signed up for 6 nights, then asked for a 7th, no problem.

It sure would have been nice for any length of stay. I asked for three days to start with. I will move south closer to Portland on Monday. I’m sure they will have spots open during the week. Your info was what I was hoping to get.

I am sure there is much more to running reservations correctly than my noting some empty spots--just kind of odd.
This is a pretty nice park, probably best one near Portland, tho I haven't been to but one other one.

I think 99 has also turned into long term parking. I Zdrive by there a couple times a week and their No Vacancy sign is always out.
Hee Hee Ilahee is pretty good too. Kind of a long drive and rush hours it gets congested.

We called 99 RV Park about staying there last Christmas for a week or so, on short notice, and the guy said they had a few spots available, but just a few.

It's also a Passport America park (not in the summer, though), which also indicates that they transient spots.
