Prince William Forest RV Campground - Dumfries, VA

Just reserved a full hookup site for Sept. through December at William Forest RV Campground. Just wondering if anyone has recently RV'd there. My son is stationed at Ft. Belvoir and it's not far. We want to spend the fall and Christmas before heading back to Boise, ID. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. I have a 38ft Class A Newmar.

It doesn't seem like there are many options that close to DC and that allow full timers or are open year round. Thanks for any responses.

We stayed there about four years ago for a week. Other than the bathhouse, it was nice. Some of the asphalt was in need of repair on the roads; but nothing too serious. The bathhouse however was BAD; lots of mold/mildew in the shower stalls, both male and female. But maybe they've addressed that problem since then.
