We finally got there last month. I wish there were more campgrounds like this one. Our site was pretty large, level, and quiet. We will definitely be going back.

We'll be there Oct. 1st. Good to see a positive review.

We were out there earlier this season. We had to use Rt. 84 heading west and it was like driving in a third world country. I told my wife that no matter how much we love the park, we can't go back until they finish rebuilding the highway. There were spots where the road was just missing!

We feel the same way about the roads in to Otter Lake. Nice campground, but the access roads were horrible.

We took 84 east and most of that section was in pretty good shape. If I recall correctly they were in the process of repaving, so hopefully they will moving eastward and the section you use will get fixed.

Well we arrived at Promised Land State Park this afternoon after driving through light rain most of the day. We're at Pickeral Point and I've got to be honest the sight we're in(#135) is no where near level. I can't get the coach to even level up manually, I'd have to raise the rear wheels off the ground. And that's not happenin'. Campers on both sides of us are having the same problem. The park is beautiful with the leaves all ablaze in color, but I am glad we're only staying the one night.

I've stayed in 134 just one up from you. I found that you need to be pretty far back into the lot and then as I always do, I level manually by raising the rear without the front levelers deployed, this compresses the front suspension and sort of teeters the rig. Once the unit it level I deploy the front just until they touch the ground.
