Red face Pull through parking sites on Oregon Coast.

Hello everyone!
I'm looking for suggestions on rv sites on Oregon Coast or western Oregon with pull through parking. DH hasn't mastered backing the trailer in. In fact we had quite the disaster at Pacific City TT and the park host had to park our trailer after an unfortunate scrape on a concrete pole the first and only time we took it out. We're tired of making payments on a trailer we can't use. So any suggestions would be great.
Thanks,
Shannon

Don't be afraid of it the more you use it the easier it will get...practice, practice, practice...The first time we took out our 37' MH I was having a bad time backing it into a spot. One of the CG workers helped direct me in...It took me about 20 minutes to get it parked and leveled. Several people just had to come over and say "first time out huh?" and laughed. At first I was embarrased until they told me they went thru the same thing. Now 7 months later and several trips stopping at multiple sites each trip, I back it in in a few minutes and the wife and don't get in an arguement(haha), and have it all set up in about 10 minutes. It will get easier each time.

Sorry I guess UFO is right even though we were trying to boost your confidence we didn't really aqnswer the question. We really liked Winchester Bay too, a little windy as it is close to the water, but nice pull thru sites. We just came up/down thru Oregon, inland up coast down..there are several with pull thru sites you just have to read the reviews either on line or in a RV guide. We also really liked Seven Feathers RV park which is inland in the City of Canyonville...super nice place, pull thrus available and free shuttle to the casino....

Oceanside RV Resort, Charleston OR (just west of CoosBay), nice park under new ownership with gravel pads, a great enclosed beach.

Beachfront RV Park, oceanside in Brookings OR, not quite as nice, but right across a drive through parking lot (50 yes from the waves). Gravel. Allows fire pits. Great step off for OR coast North and Redwood State and National Parks South in CA.

Both reasonably priced.

Pick a town you want to explore and go to this site, plug in the town, and you'll get a list of RV parks in that town. There's a check off for pull-through sites for a general idea but you can also click on the park's web site for more accurate information. Hope things go better for you.

P.S. In the future, don't limit yourselves to pull-through spots. Go to a parking lot/mall early morning and practice, practice, practice. Some day you might have to back it up for other reasons, too. Every RVer usually has the same problem. You're not alone out there.

Also, the person guiding the driver in also has to learn the correct method and that person is responsible for any tree/post issues. It'll come!

We have been back just a month after 4 months up the upper California coast and Oregon to the cut off to Salem. Had no problems in finding pull throughs, we only moved 90 to a 100 miles a day. Had a great time, but lower Oregon the wind was blowing almost gale force every day. Have a safe trip.

The Oregon State Park Site will show the pull in sites. Most of the campgrounds we have stayed have some.

You mean me hyperventilating in a brown paper bag isn't the proper technique?
