Quartzsite

My wife and I are thinking of going to Quartzsite the latter part of Jan/first part of Feb to see what all the fuss is about regarding the zillions of rock vendors there. We are avid rockhounders so this is like a call to Mecca for us. We aren't interested in boondocking and would like at least power and water.

Any and all recommendations would be appreciated.

Sunsetters RV Park

We've stayed here three times and always had a good time. Very nice people.

You need to make reservations for this time of the year. There are a bunch of other RV parks but I'm not familiar with any of them.

You will soon come to understand the mystery of the big Q. Neat in it's own way.

You may want to take a look at Black Rock RV in Brenda. It is ten miles east of Q and then run hourly shuttles in and out during the show. That way you can escape the hustle and bustle when you want.
