Walter, just so you know...by mid-March most everything will be over with in Quartzsite and the majority of the vendors will have left. There may be a few vendors who are still around (and there are ones who are there year around), but you won't really be able to get the "flavor" of Quartzsite by then.

By the time you get to Q there will be the desert and a small portion of the RVs left. Perhaps if you wish to see this event you could rearrange you time.

there is a gold and treasure and craft show at the QIA building on Valentines weekend. Also the metal detectors club is having a huge coin hunt in the town park. In March, there is the Grand gathering in Q. They are trying to get as many grandparents in one place at one time. Also sponsored by the QiA.This is a first for both these events. Dona
