Quiet 4th in the Northwest?

Hello all.
We are looking for suggestions for the Fourth of July weekend. Any of you that have sensitive animals will understand our plight. Our town at the end of June through the Fourth turns in to a war zone. We live next to an Indian reservation. We typically go to Long Beach WA for the Fourth, but it is no better. So we are looking to take our class A some place queit the week of June 30th. Any thoughts?

How close are you to Canada? I don't think that they celebrate the 4th. Also are you near any National Forests whose campgrounds are far from civilization? Most of them don't allow fireworks during dry season. Eddie Elk.

Flee from 4th noise.

We have two small dogs that really freak out on the 4th of July. Last year we were in a Oregon State Park next to the Pacific and it was really quiet. Also National Parks do not allow any fireworks and enforce the rules.
I would also check with your vet and get some "puppy Prozac". It works wonders.

I have the same problem with my dog. We normally summer north of Ocean Shores but stay at an rv park in Warrenton, Or (Astoria) until after the 4th. Nice (cheap) little nine hole golf course and fairly quiet.

I thought there were fireworks in Canada, but I wasn't sure.

We have friends in Warrenton, I will look in to that.

I will look in to the puppy Prozac. Our little guy could use some around the loud holiday's.

Thanks for the replies.

My Australian Shepherd cowered when I used my saws or air compressor. Bought a product named "Quiet Moments" made by Naturvet, off the shelf at Petco or Petsmart, it's a chewable calming aid that works well. She finally outgrew the problem.
