Has any body been to 1000 trails, Rancho Oso
in Ca. My question is, what is the route out of Santa Barbara like

We were there in 1998, beautyfull place. Came in from the north, then went to santa barb. in the tow car. Didn't like what I saw, so we went out the same way we came in in our 40 M.H. But as i said that was in 1998, howeve I don't think its changed much if at all. U might try calling the park n asking them.

As dsilva said, coming in from the north is a piece of cake but when you come in from the south, SR 154, is a pretty good climb but I've done it in a MoHo with the toad. Much of it is 2 lane so traffic will back up and as usual, some get antsy as hell.
