We are going to a wedding in Rapid City, SD on Oct 29th and would like recommendations on best campgrounds to stay at? Also what is the weather like then? I just looked on Yahoo's weather and it is getting down in the 30's at night there already. We have a gas Winnebago Adventurer but it does not have the special winterization package, just standard.

Most of the campgrounds in the Black Hills will be closed by that time of year, however there is one that we stayed at in the fall: Lake Park Campground in Rapid City. It is right in town and is nothing special, but the owners are nice and you probably won't have any other choices. The water will probably be turned off at that time of year, but they have electric. Phone is 800-644-CAMP
