James Island County Park is just minutes outside of Charleston, SC. Close enough to good food (especially seafood), good entertainment, 10 minutes from Folley Beach, very nice park with friendly people. They have a dog park as well.
The park # is : 843-795-4386

We kind of like Stagecoach in St. Augustine. Reviews here (along with others) RV Park Reviews :: St Augustine, Florida ( FL ) - RV Parks and Campground Reviews

In Charleston, we prefer Oak Plantation. Reviews for Charleston are here RV Park Reviews :: Charleston, South Carolina ( SC ) - RV Parks and Campground Reviews

In St Augustine, Anastasia State Park.
Welcome to Florida State Parks

In Charleston, as someone mentioned, James Island County Park, although it can be crowded on weekends and holidays.

EDIT: I just noticed you wanted full hookups, Anastasia is electric/water only. But don't let that stop you! Great place. (They have a dump station)

x2 for Oak Plantation.
While you're there, find the Firefly distillery on Wadmalaw Island, The Tea Plantation, and take time to take a carriage ride in downtown Charleston, as well as stroll through the market area. If you can catch the farmer's market, that was excellent as well. Of course, fresh seafood is all over! We spent a week there in November.

We stay at North beach in St. Augustine. Full hookups, nice pull thru's, good vegitation seperating sites, only downside, if you can call it that, is that the interior roads and sites are sand.... it's Florida !

North Beach Campground is our favorite place in the St Augustine area. Yes, it is all sand once you get past the entrance gate and a little pricey but well worth it. If you have slides be sure to request the North Side since the sites are wider in that area.
One end of the CG is on the river and the other end backs up to A1A with the ocean across the street.
Have fun!
