Recommendations for family park Phoenix Arizona area.

Currently staying around Tombstone and Benson Arizona area, kinda toured everything and it is way to cold. Time to relocate, what is nice Phoenix area?

Maricopy County campgrounds are awesome - big scenic sites, wildlife, hiking, ranger programs, electric, water, dump stations. We would recommend Usery, McDowell Mountain, Cave Creek, Lake Pleasant. Here's a link:

Also, Lost Dutchman State Park east of Phoenix in Apache Jct. is great! It will be a lot warmer up that direction..... Have a good visit!

It's not just Benson and Tombstone that are cold right now...the entire west is having unseasonably cold weather, so it will be cold in Phoenix, too. However, the warming trend starts tomorrow and, by the end of the week, it's supposed to be in the low 70's.

Understand you, however, Phoenix is unseasonably cold at near freezing, which is better than I had last night at 11 degrees. My breath was freezing on the inside of the walls and I had more ice on the inside of the windshield than the outside.
