I spent several days at Feild and Stream in Brookline NH. Nice quiet park and lots to do in the area. The front desk was so helpful with restaurant suggestions and helped us map out our days tour. Very dog friendly too. Close enough for a day trip to Boston as well.

Merideth Woods campground is nice it has secluded sites but large and private with good paved wide roads, they also run the campground accross he street I don't recall the name but its suitable for smaller rigs very tight and overgrown. Rogers Campground is In Lancaster near Gorham its roomy well kept and clean both are listed in the Campgrounfd forum with photos.

www.danforthbay.com is 14 miles south of Conway and 35 miles east of Meredith.
Kinda depends on what your interests are. Tell us a little more what kind of activities you are looking for. Do you want to be on or near the big lake or a little bit away from everything?

Two sites come to mind and we have stayed at both.
1) Cannon Mountain RV State Park, If you can get in, there are only 7 sites on Echo Lake at the base of Cannon Mountain in Franconia off Rt 93. VERY NICE.
2) Ellacoya State Park is right on Winnipesaukee. Great views of the lake.

If you happen to decide that the hectic pace of the Conway/North Conway area is too much, head north to Littleton and the Crazy Horse Campground. We used to head to North Conway, but the traffic discouraged us. I have spent a number of nights at Crazy Horse over the past few years and enjoy the campground and the people. Littleton and surrounding area are a great place to explore. If you are escaping the Florida summers, it is really great.

Seahawk has that right, plus the end to end traffic. We like the Apple Hill CG in Bethlehem. Nothing fancy, but ok for up to 38' and some sites are not level. T2 worked for us:

Mountain Lake CG is another option with a new section, but is more pricey. The new section is a good bet for larger units. The new owners, a nice young couple have a 40' MH so this section shows it.
