Recommendations for NW Phoenix Valley/ Peoria area?

I'm trying to book a CG near zip code 85383 to see my sister and her family for Christmas.

Any ideas?

I'm using the allstays app and found a few in that area. But most are 55+. Will keep looking. Talk about age discrimination. Ha!

Lake Pleasant Regional Park (Roadrunner Campground), a Maricopa County Regional Park, if you can find a space. It is just a few miles west of Peoria. Spacious campground with Bradshaw Mountains around the lake. Downside is water and sewer only but restrooms and showers are first rate and sites with hookups are paved. Also a dump station is available. Wild Donkeys wander through the park early morning which adds to the rustic atmosphere. Thirty dollars a night with two weeks max stay but Cave Creek Park is fairly close by if you want to stay longer. This is not a jam packed park. This is wide open spaces with mountain views. Book online at the Maricopa County Regional Parks website.

X2 for recommending the Maricopa County parks. They are all awesome - big sites, lush Sonoran desert plants. You don't have to be 55+ to stay. There is a 2-week limit although you could move to another one. Reservations are highly recommended for the winter/spring season as they've become extremely popular. We used to be able to drive right in - not anymore.

Hey thanks for the advice, all. I was able to snag the last waterview spot for 6 nights. Much better than parking the RV in front of sisters house. Ha.
