Recommendations near Rocky Mountain NP

Looking for a quiet full hookup spot near Rocky Mtn NP for late this summer or early fall. Need wifi or a good Verizon data signal. Thanks in advance.

We're thinking the Grand Lake area might be better than Estes Park? Never been in this area before, need to book something before everything fills up probably.

The Grand Lake area has a lot of beetle damage to the trees. Estes Park would be the best choice for touring the park and hiking its trails. It won't be quiet though.

RE: Recommendations near RMNP

We stayed at Mary's Lake Campground in Estes Park last September in a 40 ft. motorhome with a toad. This is a little bit out of town, but not too far. It was a nice campground, run by the county and very quiet. Helpful friendly staff. Sites are dirt, nothing fancy, but with full hookups. We paid about $40 a night, which is not expensive in that area. Can't recall the wifi coverage, but the Verizon data was good. We HAVE to have wifi one way or another. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Estes Park. We had a fantastic time in Estes Park and saw tons of elk since it was rutting season while we were there. Lots of deer as well. Highly recommend Smokin' Dave's BBQ and the Nepal Restaurant (has a great outside eating area downtown). The bar in the Stanley Hotel is an excellent place for drinks.

I have stayed in Estes Pk at a place called Spruce Lake as I recall. I was going to go there this year but their cancellation policy stopped me. A 50% deposit, no refund for a cancel at any time. I was 5 months out and too much can happen to loose 50% of a 6 day stay there. I don't play the book and cancel game.

Booked 5 nights at Paradise on the River RVS Resort in Estes. Hope it's as good as the reviews.
