We are only going to be in Redding, CA for a couple nights, but does anyone have a good recommendation for a park close to town? We need to visit some of the fly fishing shops. Thanks!

We've only stayed in one RV park in Redding, and that was Fawn Oaks RV Park. It's been a few years ago, but was nice at the time.

If you belong to the Elks, their lodge in Redding has RV sites with water and electric plus a dump available.

Mic...Sacs and I have stayed at a couple of them. One of them was the Mountain Gate RV Park...this one seemed to have a LOT of freeway noise. There was no good sleep to be had that night.
Another park was Redding RV Park. It was quieter than the other park mentioned...and not bad as an overnighter.
Nutensteve had met the owner of Premier RV Resorts so he stayed at the one in Redding. He said it was a very nice park.

Good Luck deciding!
