Redwood Forest in Califorina.

Many years ago I was in Ca. and we were taken to a Redwood forest type park with huge I mean huge Redwoods (you can drive thru some of the tree trunks in a car) .
We were staying in the San-Fransisco area if I remember right, can anyone tell me where I was (LOL) sounds funny. I would love to go back out there to see them again.
Thanks, tb

Does this look like the tree? My Harley fit..........
The tree was alive, and "tall" is not the word for it........
I wanted the sign on the bottom of the tree in the photo, but as you can see, not the top!

Avenue of the Giants north of Garberville, Great Campground south of Garberville by The Benbow Inn. Garberville is like a time warp. The 1960's are alive and well, even if pushing 70-75 in Humbolt County (Garberville).

No I remember it was bigger. The trees were all Redwoods Like you were in a Forest. Cool Picture though.
I will check out the suggestions above, I believe it was only a couple hours drive, alittle NE of San Fran.
thank you

Largest trees in terms of diameter are found in Sequoia National Park south of Yosemite. This park includes the General Sherman sequoia which is the world's largest tree.
