Reelfoot Lake State Park

Anyone stayed in the South campground? We are looking for a park to have a reunion for the group that went to Alaska with me. Wondering if right sites or issues?

We live in the Memphis area have only been there once since being a adult. Will never go again. Sites very difficult to get into. Can barely see the lake unless you get one of the very few sites next to the lake and still can't see much of the lake Shoreline is over grown. Sites are on top of each other. Our slideout was about 4feet from the neighbors door. Lucky their awning was not out.The mosquitos are overwhelming can barely sit out at night . Smells like fish guts .Never again.
