Anyone been? If so, what's it like and is the music worth the trip? Campground recommendations?

Well worth it. A mix of venues. Country and bluegrass and some old rock and roll. Been there twice!
Camped right at the place.

The new CG is great, they have their own CG's. No-one makes an RV too big to park there and all sites are nearly level; the old one is fine for <30' Rv's. Even local talent is very good entertainment; when the big-name stars are there it's a good idea to buy tickets in advance.
Even though it's only a 3 hour drive, we always stop overnight there enroute South on I75. Check-in parking is iffy at times, plan ahead before pulling in.
