Resort Parks International

Just received a presentation that included this organization. Has anybody joined just RPI? Is it worth looking into?

I have belonged to RPI for 5 years now. If you are a full timer, you can save money with these parks. The problem is that most parks charge more than the $10 advertised fee. Some parks charge $3 resort fee and they are also charging for 30 & 50 amp electricity. There is also a fee for wifi. You must buy into a home park to get into the RPI network and they can cost thousands plus the annual fee. The parks in the system seem be be off the beaten path and I find it not worth it to drive 50 miles out of my way to save a few dollars. If you choose to buy into this program I would recommend searching the internet for resales or discount deals. I rate campgrounds on my blog at CruisinCondo. Many of them are resort properties in the RPI network. Most of them I have reviewed are just average. Mark

We just purchased a used thousand trails elite membership from another couple, and will be including the RPI membership with this for 100 a year.

So between Boondocking, Thousand Trail parks, RPI, and harvest hosts, I think we are well covered
