Currently planning a trip to Richmond, VA as a destination point for a week stay sometime in November. Plan on traveling south from I-81 in PA , to 64 to 288 following south into the Richmond area on 301. Looks like an easy route. Any other ideas on travel into the area off of I-81?

Any recommendations for a nice CG just outside Richmond that will give easy travel to see the sights in the area? South Forty Resort CG looks like an option. We'll be renting a car for day sightseeing travel. Traveling with no pets or children.

Thanks

We stayed at the South Forty for an overnight and it is a nice CG. Seemed to be close to everything but yet outside the city. People were nice and helpful. That's about all I can tell you.
