Know this great place is hard to get into at many times of the year. What about midweek this time of year. Pulling in between 2-4pm?

This is one of our favorite places. We just spent a week there in October. Now that they've clamped down on the scofflaws, you can get a spot any day of the week. We even got a spot during the middle of spring break. What people clamor over are the sites that are accessible to the beach. You may not get one of those sites, but you can access the beach from any of the pay stations/refuse spots. We unhook at either end, drive the toad to a good spot, then call and tell the rig driver to come on down. The best spots are in the middle range. Have fun!

PS: I read an earlier post that said you can make online reservations. Not true. It's first come/first served. You can pay online upon arrival, however. You would still have to fill out an envelope and put the confirmation number on it.
