has anyone stayed at riverbend campground in hiwassee,ga.???? any info on this would be appreciated. any other recommendations for camp grounds in north ga. mt. fair cg is booked up...we want to this this area in oct.

Might try River Vista Campground in Dillard. Not to far to drive to the fair and really nice CG.

We have stayed at River Bend outside Hiawassee several times and would go back again. It has a tendency to be near full in October so I'd get a reservation.

Hi All,
Hey Faye I have not stayed at River Bend, but was at River Vista in Dilard last Oct for the iRV2 Rally and it was a wonderfull campground!

We used to live in the area. We always stayed in the public campgrounds.
