River Bend campground in Hiwassee, GA

this is a really clean, well maintained campgound in the n. ga. mt. town of hiwassee,ga. there are clean restrooms and showers, pool, laundry, sites with water, electricity,sewage and it sits right beside the crystal clear hiwassee river. staff really friendly and nice, close to cleveland, helen and brasstown. very reasonable rates.

we were going to a rally there last year and had to cancel, we do want to try this cg, but i think everyone going to n. ga. should stay a few days at riverbend, it is only advertised by word of mouth.

There is also a Riverbend RV resort in Harrisburg,Oregon and it's right on the banks of the Willamette Riover. That's where they had the FCOC rally after the FMCA rally in Redmond last summer. I was there for the Camp Freightliner right after that.. Great place..
