We went looking today as usual on weekends for nice places to camp. Found a new place opened up in Jan 09 called River Lodge RV Resort in Inglis, FL. Daily is $30, Weekly $200 and monthly $500. Small pool, however everything is 50 Amp with some 30 and 20. All new plumbing it looks like, totally new park from scratch. Mostly grass butlevel and cement pads at every spot.

Looked nice, we may give it a try at some point.

Hi Papa John,
Is this the same as of different from Nature's Coast Landing? NCL is a condo park located on the South side of the old Florida Barge Canal. The map shows this park on the North side of the canal.

Nature Coast is on one side of the bridge, River Lodge is on the other side of the bridge across the waterway.

Just arrived home after spending 6 months in Crystal River.

River Lodge is an old campground that had been closed for many years. With the new nuclear power plant being constructed just north of this area a couple entrepreneurs from Crystal River bought the closed River Lodge and have been rejuvenating it. I drove through in Feb and lots of nuclear plant workers had taken up residence.

River Lodge started their monthly rate at $300 but this Spring they raised the monthly rate to $500.

Natures Coast Landings is just south on the other side of the canal. It is the nicest campground in the immediate area. The US 19 bridge crossing the canal is currently being replaced so their is some dusty and noisy road construction in the immediate area.
