Their website http://www.rccrvpark.com pretty much describes the campground .... it is fairly nice and there is lots to do in the area ... They say it is in the top 1% of Florida campgrounds .. not sure I would rate it that high but certainly nice for a months stay

We were there either the end of Jan.or first of Feb.this year and really liked it.The price is great too if you are a Good Sam member,we hope to make it again sometime the first of 2006.Be sure to go to nearby Homosassa for the Manatee show and for the big flea market on the weekends. There is also a large fruit/produce market on a corner that had good prices-don't remember the name, but you can't miss it! The Florida boomers had a rally there the week after we left so they will probably give some input on this campground also.

We were there last February. The bathrooms and clubhouse are very clean. Free Wifi near the clubhouse. Screened in pool. Very quiet. Lots of pets with very few children. Most sites are decent size. There is at least 1 pull through. We were in it. Be careful of the tree on the left side if you have a large rig.

We agree with diandtom on things you should do in the area. We highly recommend Rock Crusher.

We stay thre 2 to 6 times a year and rate it as one of our favorite places to go. Price is very reasonable with the Good Sam Discount and lots to do in the area from Charlies Seafood Resturant to eat and Hommassa (spell?) wildlife park, Ted Williams musem, fishing, springs day trips etc. We highly reccomend it.

Rock Crusher is a great place. We've stayed there several times even though it's less than 20 miles from home. We hosted a Florida Boomers rally there last Feb.

Keep in mind that this part of FL is not Orlando (for which we are grateful). If you are looking for theme park excitement, it's a 90 minute drive. All we have here is real Florida, at least until the developers finish messing everything up.
