Rocky Point

As anyone traveled there lately? The past shooting have me a troubled. Taking the 5er for only 4 days, Mexican insurance seems high but wouldn't go without it.

I would stay away from there right now. Maybe consider San Carlos, a much more pleasant environment and 5 1/2 hours from Nogales on M15, a very well patrolled highway . You also don't need car permits as it's also in the "hassle free" zone

My Brother & family traveled to Rocky Point from the Phoenix area in October without any problems & they go there a couple of times a year in their Motorhome. What is the info on the shootings and when was it? I would like to pass this on to my family.

Thanks,

Oh - You mean someplace in Mexico.

I was getting ready to tell you about six other Rocky Points. I know of about a dozen, but at least half of those are too cold for an RV this time of year.

Who and where in Yuma can this be done. I don't usually go to Yuma, once every 3 or 4 years, but will make it their this year if I can get this rate or near it.

We have used a couple of guys that have been referred by others in Caravan Oasis RV Park. Southern Mesa RV Park had some guys that did a good job, but we didn't have them do our rigs. I would not recommend that park to stay in, it is a dump of a place but the vendors did good work. I think there are a lot of these vendors in the area. The RV Park Offices usually have vendor contact info. Hubby thinks we paid $1.50.

We paid $2 a foot at Caliente Springs, CA which was the best finished we have had on our RV. We have a 25' TT and it took the guy about 5 hours to hand wash and wax.
