Rosita Flats - Near Amarillo, TX

I am looking at taking my RV & ATV's to the canadian river near amarillo. I am doing some research and found Rosita Flats ( Rosita Flats OHV Area - Texas Motorcycle and ATV Trails ) which looks to fit the bill.

I am looking for anyone that has been there, and can confirm that the road conditions are adequate for my motorhome ( I do not want to go "offroading with it!") and the boon docking sites are easily accessed in my 43 ft motorhome.

We have driven by many times and see all kinds of trucks with trailers off to the east of the highway, occasionally a larger RV. The area does not look really big rig friendly, but walk in, or go slow to pick a route.

Last month there was road construction going on and limited and controlled access to the highway. They are working on the south bound bridge. I think that once in, you have to exit north bound, cross the river bridge and make your u-turn to head south.
