Routing and where to stay: traveling ME to DE

hi everyone:

we are soon to be travelling from Trenton, ME to delaware seashore state park (near rehoboth beach, DE). while regular users of rv park reviews, we thought wed check in with people here on two things;
1. recommendations on place to stay along the way
2. routing recommendations and warnings

always appreciate your assistance

I would recommend taking the Mass Turnpike west to the NYS Thruway South, then I 287 to rt. 24 to I 78 and the Garden State Parkway. Then take the Cape May - Lewes Ferry into Delaware ( expensive but very pleasant ride). When you leave the Ferry, head towards Route 1(I put the Tangier outlets in the gps as a marker) then south to Delaware Seashore State Park.
