Ruidoso in December

Talking about going skiing in Ruidoso in December. I have never taken or driven my MH in snow and wonder it that becomes the case on the roads do you just pull over or get chains. I have a 40 Safari Cheetah pulling a toad. Crazy idea?

Just wait it out until the snow plows clear the road and the snow stops falling. Then no chaining up hassles.

Also, many of the Ruidoso campgrounds close up for winter, so be sure to check that your selected campground is open.
