Rv and tent camping

Hi All:

Family wants to camp out with us this August. What would be a good campground for our 38' and their tents to be together. Kids are 12 and 5. Want to keep it in Southern California as my son may only get a few days off and maybe could drive each night to be with us. He works in Orange County. Suggestions??????

You may have to get a group or double site. I know in Washington State the State Parks only allow 8 people per site.

Santee Lakes is just outside of San Diego. It would be perfect for you!

Campgrounds I have visited had site that were for backpackers (walk in) or tents only but any site for RV's would be OK for people with a vehicle and a tent. No problem finding adjoining sites if you arrive early in the afternoon at most campgrounds.
