RV/MH Hall of Fame

Has anyone been to the RV/MH hall of fame and is so what campgrounds are in the area and what is the cost of admission?

What else is there to see in the immediate area to see?

If you are a senior it's $8. Regular admission is $10.
Elkhart Campground is about as close as you can get.
Go to the surplus stores and look for those things you need to upgrade your RV.
Shipshewana is a Amish town with a flea market and places to shop.
Do a tour of a RV manufacturing plant.

Hall of fame is in Elkhart--Shipshewana is 15 mile east. On Tuesday & Wednesday there is a large flea market & auction (lots of antiques). This is a very huge flea market. They have flowers & farm market too The flea market has a RV park and 1/2 mile south of that there is another RV park. In town 1/4 mile north of flea market there are lots of shops. ( about anything like quilts, nick/nacks, some antiques) couple nice restaurants.

Shipshewana is a large Amish community. Just a drive thru the country side is special. The homes & gardens are all very well kept.

Middlebury is maybe 10 mile south of Elkhart on HWY 20. The Essenhaus restaurant is there. They serve home cooked meals as the Amish do. They also have a buffet.

About anything RV is in the area. If you need something for or done on your Rv- someone in the area will be able to do it. I use a place in Middlebury for some updates at times. I checked with him in June to get a quote and he told me he was booked thru September. So I guess the repair business is good.

Nappanee is maybe 20 south. Amish Acres is there. An area with shops & the Amish story.

Lot of RV factory tours available too.
