Timberline is a very nice park and is very convenient to Philly, Avoid spots 60-69 (we got spot 67) They are very close to each other and makes exiting with toad very difficult. The people next to us were long term and gone with their Dully parked at the nose of our spot making left turn exit impossible, but due to low occupancy we drove across the spot directly in front of us , alls well that ends well just a heads up.
If you like ducks, deer or turkey you'll be in heaven here.
We are now at Cherry Hill in DC, a little pricey but very nice with every amenity you could think of. Plan your rout here carefully, the area (street layout) is not RV friendly.
On the way from Atlanta to Philly we took the scenic rout, 81 to 66, this is also the hard way! lol. you will be either going up hill or down hill the either way. Also in keeping to my dumb way of going ahead to the "next place" to camp we almost didn't find a place after driving past plenty.
then they ran out or were closed for the season.
Stopped for the night at Dixie Caverns (late) the woman who runs it was a very cool person and was up at 11:30 pm to greet us.
Park is small and no frills but was a night saver and we were glad to find it.
