Hi:

I would highly recommend Bakersfield RV Resort off 99, Weibel exit, near Camping World and has a great resturant. Plus has home made cookies at 3o PM daily. WCMC had Rally there and were treated first class.

We always stay at Orange Grove. Easy in and out and good sites.

Bakersfield RV Park and Resort – bring your motorhome and enjoy!

Nothing near I-5 that I am aware of. Check http://campgroundreviews.com the Bakersfield area has several well regarded parks.

One thing I like about this park its easy from I-5 and base of Grapevine. You just go down by Weedpatch and there are very wide open roads from near the Junction of I-5 and 99 and its a short distance.

Bakersfield RV Parks near I-5

When going south/north on I-5, we stay at Bakersfiled Rv Park.
When going east over the Tehachapi Pas, we stay at Orange Grove. Plenty of pull throughs. Nice people.
Usually gas up at Costco before turning onto Hwy 58.
In season, you can pick all the oranges you want.

Do you Mean Bear Mountain??

You can see some campgrounds on this Google Map that are in that area. The closest one to the Grapevine is Bear Mountain RV ...it looks like you can cut across to I-5 by heading west on Bear Mountain Blvd and driving about 6 miles from the campground.

Good Luck & Safe Travels!

I think you are talking about Bakersfield River Run. It gets a lot of great reviews and it's a new park. Personally, we have not used it but have stayed at both Bakersfield RV Resort and the Orangegrove...both great places.

One of the benefits of Orange Grove RV Park is that the oranges should be about ripe..and they let you pick some for yourself!
