I like Leo Carrillo State Beach see Leo Carrillo SP
However, they have a 31 foot trailer and MH limit.

How many of you remember Leo?

This subject comes up pretty often and the answers are the same, LA is just not rv friendly and there are few rv parks. I can add a couple of suggestions that I haven't seen yet, Walnut RV in Northridge, between the 101 and the 118, there's a KOA in Pomona. The Balboa park in Van Nuys is pretty run down. We've stayed at Walnut RV and it's fine. I usually recommend Dockweiler but you've tried that and Golden Shores in Long Beach. If you had a military background there's a fam camp in Seal Beach at the naval facility.

USC wont allow you to stay in one of the parking lots for a few days? The location of that school is so far from any RV parks. I stay at the orange county air grounds if I am just needing a safe place to stay a couple of nights. Cheap with full hook ups.
