RV Park near Memphis TN

Any suggestion for a RV park in the Memphis TN area for a couple of days. Wife wants to see Graceland.
We will be in a 36 foot motorhome towing a jeep.

Thanks, Jim

We live just outside of Memphis and like Tom Sawyer Campground in West Memphis, Arkansas. They have sites on the river and we like watching all the tugs and barges going by. It's nothing fancy, but the owners are nice and it's reasonably priced. Since you have your Jeep it would be no more than a 30 minute drive to Graceland. Just call ahead to make sure the river is not flooding as they are inside the levee.

Another option is the Graceland RV park. Right at Graceland. Sites are a bit crowded in my opinion, but for a night or 2 not bad. Stayed there one night when we first moved to the Memphis area.

I have stayed at Tom Sawyers, I really enjoyed it and it is conveniently located to Memphis. It is across the river in West Memphis, but very clean and safe.

Forgot about the casino's. There are a couple casino's that have RV parks. As mentioned SAMs Town, as well as Hollywood casino. They are the furthest from Memphis, but not a bad drive. The closest casino RV park would be Harrah's, but only until June 2nd as Harrahs Tunica is going out of business.

We stayed at Graceland Park, can walk to all of Graceland sites. You can also get a guided tour of town including lunch on Beale St. Don't remember the cost but we felt it was reasonable considering we didn't have to fight traffic or find the things we wanted to see.

Go south on 55 to the Jellystone down in South Haven. Great place and easy to Graceland.

I liked Graceland RV...

I agree that Graceland RV is a little tight on their sites but it's a nice park and not having to drive was worth the $38 a night. We didn't even unhook the Jeep...Elvis' favorite BBQ restaurant picked us up in a pink limo for dinner and brought us back afterwards(just ask the CG office for info). I called the CG 'Fort Graceland' because of the security measures the CG has in place... Never felt unsafe anywhere though.

Anyway, the semi 'forced' visit turn out to be pretty interesting and I got to see where all those grilled peanut butter, banana and sometimes bacon sandwiches were built. Walking through the 'Liza Marie' was pretty cool as well.

We stayed there several years ago. It's very convenient to Graceland.

I forgot we did the pink Cadillac ride to Elvis's favorite restaurant too, the ride is free they pickup right at your site and return when finished eating.

Another vote for Tom Sawyer's. It's enjoyable watching the barges going up and down the Mississippi.

I stay a lot in Memphis with my work. I don't care for Tom Sawyer CG because it floods getting in and out of there and is sometimes buggy. If you want a nice well kept park sort of between a traditional CG and a high end motorcoach place stay at Jellystone CG in South Haven MS. It's in a nice neighborhood with plenty of access to Walmart, grocery, Sams, mall shopping and it's 15 min drive to downtown Memphis like Beale Street or the Redbirds stadium. It's 10 min to Graceland and not in such a bad neighborhood. There's not much to do close by Tom Sawyer park. Here's a pic of my RV on one of the spots at Jellystone CG.

Another one for Graceland RV park. We went to Memphis to see Graceland and the location of the park was perfect. Walk to the mansion and spend as much time there as you want without worrying about parking.
