I recently stayed at the Vineyards it was very, very nice. Well maintained, and they can accommodate big rigs.

Hickory Creek COE is fairly close to Plano. Nice park with shoppin and restaurants close by. Going to be 15 mins to east Plano via George Bush TP or 121.
Plano doesn't have anything.

griff is right. There are no rv parks in Plano, Tx. You have to go to McKinney, Denton, Lewisville or some other area city.

lLavon Lake
COE has a couple of campgrounds on Lavon Lake. We stayed at EastFork park in early January and will stay there again. It is located just north of Wylie. Just be sure to return before the gate closes at night. The gate is locked and you have to walk to your site.
