RV Park recommendations in/around Naples/Sarasota
Hi All
This is our first time going south in our 2006 Camelot, 40 ft. Can anyone provide recommendations for campgrounds with full service around Naples and North to Sarasota. I hope we r not late for extended stay bookings. Anyway we r leaving first week of January when the wife retires and expect to get to Florida for extended stay from Feb 1st to end of March. . Thanks for any thoughts/help on this endeavour that we are embarking on . Safe travels everyone!!

We stay at Signature Motorcoach Resort, very nice and a lot of activities and a bit pricey. We have also stayed at the KOA. Enjoyed it, but not as many activities. There are several others in the area, they all look nice, but can't speak for any other than the 2 mentioned. We will be at Signature for a month from mid January to mid February. Hope this is helpful.

We spent our our first weekend out in our new coach at Sun N Fun Resort in Sarasota. It's a very nice park...very big...with two pools (one in, one out) and lots of other activities. Right off I75 so it's easy to get to and you don't have to drive all the way through Sarasota just to get to it.

Crystal Lakes RV Resort in Naples is a wonderful RV resort. Beautiful on the lake at night.

In Naples we have stayed at Pelican Lake(very awesome!), Neapolitan Cove, and Paradise Point. We have not stayed at Signature, but have friends that have and is another great option. Depends on what you want, all listed are good. If you want to go way up stream, then I would go Pelican Lake.

We just got back from sun n fun In Sarasota for the weekend Halloween event, lots of spaces, very grounded if park is full but may be different with mostly winter residents. They do have a lot of events and was nice place to walk around. Food was priced lower than restaurants and drinks specials were right at the price you would pay else where.
Would definitely stay again. Easy on and off the interstate staff was all friendly.
