RV parking at Atlanta Georgia Aquarium.

We are going to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta GA in a few weeks. Has anyone taken a motorhome? I see on their website that bus parking is available offsite.

Parking in that area is a nightmare at best for large vehicles. We ended up paying $30 for a spot after an exhausted search to park our DRW F350 a few years back. The Coke museum is in the same place. BTW, we enjoyed the museum in downtown Chattanooga much more than Atlanta.

Cartersville, Ga. KOA is just north of Atlanta just off I-75.... You won't be disappointed with the Aquarium..

Big thumb up for Chattanooga. The museum, Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls Cave, and soooo much more.

So where did you end up parking? I'm looking for MH parking near there too.

We ended up paying for 2 spots in one of the venders lots just north west of Baker Street, just to have enough room to get in and out. I did not see any MH parked within blocks of the Aquarium. Delivery trucks were double parked curbside and the parking garage was not an option for a DRW truck.

Yup. I kept Googling and finally found RV parking right by the Georgia Dome in a surface lot. Excited for SEC Tournament in March!

Update:
Well we made it to the Atlanta Georgia Aquarium just fine. It was amazing. We, my DW, grandson and I, really enjoyed it. Whale sharks, manta rays, alligators, dolphin show, beluga whales, and many other sights to see. We spent all day. There is a Coca Cola museum next door , if you like that sort of thing. We parked in a bus parking lot up the street a few blocks, $25 for the day, $30 for overnight. Directions were on their website. There were a few truckers, tour buses, and MH's. Lots of room. Fenced and pretty secure. I liked this way better than Orlando. The people in GA are really nice.
