RV Parking Fort Myers Beach Area

We are heading to Fort Myers Beach End of November and staying until just before Christmas. We have a room booked on the beach for two weeks but the prior and remaining days will be in the coach. In a perfect world it would be great to park the thing in the same spot for the whole stay without breaking the bank. It's a 40ft with a 12ft bike trailer. I park the coach unload the Harley and use it as transportation for the stay.

I know its a weird request but does any one have any suggestions??

I will pay a daily fee. Not looking for a freebie. Just cant see paying a RV resort rate when we wont be staying in the unit for the whole stay.

LOL,,, The wife likes to stay on the beach in a room since we are in the coach most of the time in the summer here in Canada. I tried,,, believe me. Last year we even walked down to Red Coconut and had a look,,,, she still wanted her room,,,

The storage areas will work fine but I was looking for something a little more easily accessible during the day in case we wanted to pick something up out of the coach. Maybe someone with property and a large drive or a business with a parking area that would not be used during that time period.

You don't have any friends in the auto biz down there can find you some yard space? ;-)

These storage areas are off island and quite a long drive in heavy traffic. Check with the hotel, they can give you up to date information.

Parking is scarce there.

Oh I know about traffic around Fort Myers. We have been going there for 10 years now. Just have never taken the coach. First year trial for this set up. Usually tow down with the dually and bike trailer.

Just trying to help. Lived nearby for 35 years. I would still call the hotel.

I will give the Hotel a try. I know they frowned on my dually because it was "too big". They may have some suggestions,,, ya never know.

I know what you mean. At a McDonalds drive through, with the speaker out of sight of the workers, They did not respond when I drove up. Beeped the horn after a few minutes. They told me my truck was too big for the "sensors." !

HUH? I have only been to that drive through, oh, 300 hundred times before!

It does make a great private joke. When things go wrong, my wife and I look at each other and say: "You know, the truck is too big!"

Anybody familiar with Gulf Waters RV Resort? Like the location and the look. Their prices don't look that bad.
