Hello ~ This is our 2nd RV trip. We are currently in Fountain Hills, AZ and are going to the San Francisco area to take the coast highway back to Oregon. Our question: Can you suggest a couple of nice RV parks along the way to SF. We don't mind paying 40+. We are not towing our vehicle so driving the entire route (I-10 to 580) is not an option. Thank you !! Barista
P.S. What I mean by "nice" is cable TV (it's March Madness for my husband) and WiFi so I can have access to irv2 ! Thank you again......

Bakersfield River Run RV Park is a good place to stop in Bakersfield. Some of the sites are a bit tight, but cable and wifi were great when we were there.
Hope this helps.

Bakersfield RV Resort, A Country RV Park and Orange Grove RV Park in Bakersfield are all nice parks. Bakersfield RV Resort has a nice resturant / sports bar and the rent is about $35 per night.

I guess I am confused by where your travels will be taking you and what roads you do or do not want to take. Unless you drive like a trucker you are likely going to need a campground in the Palm Springs/Indio, CA area, maybe somewhere around Bakersfield and the in the SF area itself. If you drive more or less you will need camping in other areas no one is considering.

A new RV Park just opened in Redcrest, CA in the heart of the Redwoods, Ancient Redwoods Resort RV Park, on the Avenue of the Giants
We found a number of nice RV Parks in the Palm Springs area, pretty slim pickings anywhere near San Francisco. The KOA in Petaluma advertises itself as "San Francisco North". If you want suggestions North of San Francisco on 101, let me know.

I can highly recomend Betabel RV Resort just south of San Jose off of Hwy 101. Try and stay clear of anything in the San Francisco area as it is very congested and easy to get lost on the freeways.

Orange Grove in Bakersfield is a great stop/over nighter. Coyote Hills in Morgan Hill is a beautiful park south of San Jose. Let me know if you need recco's north of the city.

From your start point look at Indian Wells RV park in Indio. Not knowing your driving habits as mentioned before Orange Grove in Bakersfield is top notch, but if you are veering over to the coast after LA try the RV park in Ventura. Pismo Coast Village is about 165 miles North of Ventura and walking distance to the beach and town.
Navigating the Bay Area can be tricky. If you would like suggestions let us know
