Anyone ever stayed in either Houston West RV or Traders Village RV in Houston???
I read a few reviews on Houston West and wasn't that impressed... Don't know about Traders Village....
Looking for a place to stay when we visit our kids in Katy the week after Christmas....

Try Stephen F. Austin state park at San Felipe. Beter that the others. We stayed at raders VilAge about seven years back. With the flea market there, traffic can be a hassel on weekends. I have since hear that you do not leave anything out without tying it down...

We have stayed in the Houston East RV park several times and found it to work for us just fine. Houston East is about the same distance from the center of Houston as Houston West.

There is the good Sam park Lakeview on S. Main- about a mile south of the loop and not far from Reliant Center that is my favorite site in Houston and one of the tops nationwide. They are pet friendly and near medical center. Lake, workout room and good rates

Houston West RV Park is in Brookshire. It is about 8 miles West of Katy. It is right off the freeway so I expect there would be some freeway noise. If I remember correctly it is slightly elevated from the freeway so maybe a back part of the RV park would be quiet.
They others mentioned are between 15-20 miles from Katy.

If you're not familiar with the Houston area and since your business is in Katy, please be aware that the east side of Houston is a LONG way from Katy. Houston is a pretty big place - it's 50+ miles each way from our house on the NW side of Houston to Hobby Airport on the south side of Houston where my wife has to pick up our nephew and his girl friend on Monday.

The size of Houston is the reason I suggested SFA state park. Straight shot into Katy from there plus it is a full hook up park.

+1
Stayed there last year and it is a decent park, convenient to Katy. As noted, it is close to the freeway and you will have traffic noise.
