RV parks in Rio Grand Valley

Hi all,

Would like recommendations for rv parks in RGV in Jan'14. Have never been down and I know there are many parks to choose from. Always nice to have guidence from those who've "been there, done that"...
Don't need fancy, just a nice park with FHU's that's near civilization. Will probably be there for at least a month. Someone said McAllen was a nice area but I'm sure there are others.

Thanks,
Jim

Seven Oaks RV Resort in Mission is very nice and just a couple of miles from McAllen.
They should have openings in Jan. Convenient to everything.

Check out Bensen Grove Resort on Bensen Palm Drive in Mission. Very nice and reasonably priced.

Don't need nice! but nice would be accepted? Victoria Palms in Donna is excellent. However I have heard they have a new owner. They are priced near the top of the chain in South Texas but if you compare with AZ or Fl, they are a bargain!

He said ....."Don't need fancy, just a nice park with FHU's that's near civilization."
BTW Seven Oaks is $525/mo for a 1 month stay. Cheaper if you stay longer.

You are right! That is what he said, my bad. Can I still can give my recommendation? What are FHU's?

There are probably 100+ RV Parks in the RVG. Logon to the RVG website for a list. Eddie Elk.
