We are looking for an RV Park or campground in or near Round Rock, Texas for a months stay. Anyone have any personal experience? RV Park Reviews was not too helpful on this one!!
Thanks,
Johnny

Hey Johnny;
We are currently parked at Oak Forest RV at 8207 Canoga Avenue, Austin, 78724
It is GREAT. You can check the coordinates on your GPS and see if it's close enough for you.. It is North/East Austin so pretty close to Round ROck

There are several other possibilities for you over on RV.net in response to your question there.

Go just north on I-35 to Georgetown and there are several. Berry Springs is nice and there are several others. Georgetown is a neat little college town.
Why go to that other site when the best Texas knowledge is here.

Re: Berry Springs RV Park, Georgetown, TX
We stayed here while visiting the grandkids. Nice RV Park. Best part was the nature preserve/park next door. There is a bridge crossing/entrance right next to the park if you want to take a walk or dive over to the official entrance on the other side.

My father in law used to manage the COE park, Jim Hogg state park in Georgetown, TX. It's on a lake and the sites are wide open for big rigs..The facility is about 5 miles west of I-35 and easy to find. A great park and close to Round Rock..

Old Settlers Park off HWY 79 East side of Round Rock. Close to Dell diamond. You might check it out.

I stayed at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock for about 4 months last year. It's small but quiet and is located next to Dell Diamond ball field.
Stopped there for a few days this March on our way back from the Albuquerque convention and enjoyed it. You can get a discounted rate on an extended stay.
