RV Parks in SW Florida or central East coast

We are wondering if anyone has suggestions for a nice RV park that's reasonably priced in SW Florida or possibly central East coast. We'd like to be within 15 minutes of a beach if possible. We've spent a lot of time on Allstays and RV Park Reviews but feeling overwhelmed with all the choices. Would be spending a month or two this winter. Thanks!

Not sure if you feel this is east central or not, but St Augustine has a numerous RV parks and 3 or 4 on the beach or across the street from it.
My wife and I visited there last winter and came to really like the city, you could spend months there and not eat in all the restaurants or visit all the little shops.
We are staying at Compass RV park from Christmas till the end of January. Nice clean place about a mile east of Interstate 95 and only about 15 minutes from the downtown and the coast.

Thanks, Jim. Looks nice on their website. What are the temps there in January and February?

Last January it was low to mid 70's for the two weeks we were there, absolutely perfect weather.

Another note on St. Augustine, take a look at the city's website, there is more to do there than any other city I have visited. The trolley system runs throughout the historic downtown area on about 15 minute intervals, and you can ride it all day, or all week with a pass, no need to find parking that way.

It does not matter if you are retired or young with kids, you will have a good time there.
