Paradise Valley Campground, about 5 miles north of Cleveland off of HWY 129. It is an owner park, but rentals are available. You can find some listed on the park website pvc4u.com. The park is about 10 miles from Helen.

We've stayed twice at Vogel State Park in Blairsville.
It is nearest to Hiawassee, as Helen is a little to the
South (down the mountain)....

THE BEST ONE OF ALL!!!!...A hidden treasure - take a GORGEOUS and relaxing drive to Enota Mountain Retreat in Hiawassee, GA! Enota - North Georgia Retreat Center - Cabins, RV Sites, Camping, Helen, Hiawassee This site is perfect for all ages and all occasions. It's charming, romantic, welcoming, perfect for hiking, strolling, or picnics. It also provides accommodations for camping, RVs, pop ups and they even have charming cabins and stream-side hotel rooms. It is completely surrounded by mountains and immersed in the Chattahoochee National Forest. The Appalachian Trail runs through the property as well. I especially love the organic gardens and farm and the two waterfalls that are 200 & 400 feet tall. Enota was broadcasted on “Georgia's Hidden Treasures” because the property is incredibly gorgeous and welcoming. To see the television series on Enota Mountain Retreat in Hiawassee, GA check out this youtube link:

Enota was nice and we where there when it was raining. Wasn't too bad. Our problem was that could get the SAT to pick up or the local broadcast stations. It is a beautiful cg. It all depends on what you are looking for in a cg. There are many very nice cg's in the area. Unicoi is great for a sp cg.

When we lived in the area, our favourite campground was Rabun Beach. Chattahoochee National Forest Campgrounds

You can take Hwy 76 Turn at Hwy 197 then take a left at Burton Dam Rd (Convenience store on the corner.... closest convenience store to the campgound).

We would day trip to Helen and Hiawassee from there. The beach is across the road from the campground. Nice hike up to the Falls inside the campground.
