Hi,
I'm new to the forum, but have been fulltiming for two years.

I am hoping someone can point me to an RV park in the Vegas area. I know about Oasis, but am too tight to let go of $60.00/night. Any recommendation will be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Ernestine

DH and I just stayed at Oasis the first part of this month. I believe the full charge, including tax, was about $42.00 a night. WiFi is extra and paid for in the store, but you are given a credit on your camping fee for the cost of WiFi.

Forgot to add, we used of FMCA discount, but Oasis also honors Good Sam.

We a stay at Sam's Town, out on Boulder Hwy. Clean campground, restrooms and pool.Free bus about every hour to and from the strip and downtown. Less than $30.00 a night. Never been disappointed. Also have a great buffet

If you are in Las Vegas for a short time and want a real "treat", take advantage of the 5 FREE nights at the Outdoor Resorts. Here is the website and there is a coupon you need to present to them upon arrival. They don't hassle you and it is totally free for those 5 nights.

Bill & Kathy,
Wow! Sounds great! Until I saw the small print that says Class A's only...bummer. We have a 5th wheel.

What an awesome deal though!
Thanks.

ernestine,
while in the Las Vegas area, if you plan on staying awhile, check out Pahrump, about an hours drive west. Terrible's Lakeside RV park is wonderful and very reasonable. This time of year the weather is great and Pahrump does have a few smaller casinos if they interest you. Have some friends that have been at that park for almost 7 months now, we visited them there in our coach and I would recommend it to anyone. I believe the nightly rate was around $27
