RV Parks near Bellingham, WA

We are planning a month in the Seattle area and would like to stay in a nice park North of Meto Seattle. Ancortes, Burlington, Lopez Island, Vancouver will be on our visit list by toad.

We prefer private parks rather than state or federal parks....unless they have amenities and nice facilities.

Look up Pioneer Trails RV Resort... this is a private RV park near Anacortes and Deception Pass.
It’s a very nice place and we have “camped “ there many times. They are usually pretty full in the summer so I would recommend reserving in advance.
It is well kept up and quiet even when busy. Some of their sites are full sun and others have plenty of shade, depending on your preference. They also have a fenced, off leash dog area that you can use.
This is a great area to explore, and a good home base to explore the San Juan Islands. (Catch a ferry boat in Anacortes). Have fun on your trip!
I think their sites are around $50. Per night.

Fidalgo Bay RV park or Deception Pass state park. Both close to Anacortes, you can drive down to Seattle

We love Deception Pass State Park but a lot of their sites are mot full hookup and most of their sites don’t accommodate big rigs. Great place to stay if you can get the right site... great beach and beautiful area.

In Bellingham is the Bellingham RV Park right off of I5.
I do not recommend Norwest RV Park in Ferndale
I do not recommend Beachwood RV Resort in Blaine
I do recommend the Cedars RV Park in Ferndale
I do recommend Beachside RV Park in Birch Bay

All of these parks are within 20 miles of Bellingham, all to the north
